Arrrg and ahoy mate! 'tis excellent work so far, but then, I *really* dig the Pirates! I think they're an awesome faction to feature in a story!
::as he cracks the whip:: now you...back to writing! I wanna see what happens....will the Pirates find a way to beat the nasty ol' bugs, or will they get a personal introduction to Davy Jones' locker?

The list of published books grows. If you're curious to see what sort of stories I weave out, head to Amazon.com and do an author search for "Christopher Hartpence." Help support Candle'Bre, a game created by gamers FOR gamers. All proceeds from my published works go directly to the project.
I just have one suggestion. Keep the editions coming. I'm glad to see new stories popping up and this one seems to have great potential. Keep up the good work.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh
Thanks for the support everyone! I should have another section or 2 up later tonight.

I really like the story so far. Lots of action. Are you planning to expand at all to take in any other factions in the conflict? Please, keep it up, it's a great read.

"Work like you don't need money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching. Sing like nobody's listening."
Alright, I put up a couple more sections. Tell me what you think.
Argonaut: I do hope to expand the story to other factions eventually. I'm not sure when though.

Hey all, I'm back. After several days of a broken internet connection and preparing for an upcoming backpacking trip I finally got around to continuing the story. This part fills in some historical gaps. Comments are appreciated. Enjoy!!

I'm currently writing the Pirates in 'Tides' and let me just say you have raised the bar for all of us
"There are two kinds of scientific progress: the methodical experimentation and categorization which gradually extend the boundaries of knowledge, and the revolutionary leap of genius which redefines and trandscends these boundaries. Acknowledging our debt to the former, we yearn nonetheless to the latter."-Academician Prokhor Zakhrov, "Address to the Faculty"
Thanks Sealurk. That's quite a compliment. I'm truly grateful. I'm leaving for a backpacking trip on Saturday, so I probably won't write for a few days. I may or may not be able to finish my next post before then. I guess we'll just have to see.
