FREE DRONE BULLETIN

Spartans discovered...

Our 3rd Laser Rovers, patrolling around Miner's Freehold, intercepted rovers belonging to the faction called Spartans. Their rovers were patrolling aswell, around their base they have recently established. There wasn't any conflict, but there was friction about whoms territory it belongs. The leaders of both our factions will communicate soon.

OOC: Miner's Freehold is situated within the Borehole Cluster. The Drone base was establish the previous year and they do have a decent military...since they need it against the Hive threat.

New faction encountered!

Yesterday, rovers from the 2nd Laser rovers encountered other rovers belonging to another faction.The faction is called the Free Drones.After a short argue about whos territory this was, the two rover teams introduced themselves and their factions.
Seems that the Free Drones are a collection of Spartans and people from another faction called ”the Hive”.That surely clears out the mystery of the mass disappearances in our bases, that happened a few years backward.
Though we do not like traitors, but the Free Drones seem to be people with the right attitude about how to survive on this planet.

New mindworm attacks

The attacks by mindworms against our bases has resumed again, after the escape of the peacekeepers from War Outpost.
This time, however, we are ready.The formers have cleared much of the native life near our bases, or rather the native life has moved out of the vicinity, and have set up a large network of sensor arrays.
Last week, a few mindworm boils tried a attack on one of our former units, but the military unit escorting it saw them coming thanks to the newly built sensor arrays, and ambushed the pitiful mindworms, completely torching them.
Another good thing is that the cowardly Spore launchers are afraid to bombard our bases. They don´t want risking the sensor arrays detecting them and alerting a military unit to finish them off.That faith happened already to a growth of Spore launchers that tried to bombard Sparta Command.

Please do not think us as crazy gun lunatics, but as a orderly society with the objective of humankinds survival.Though we have a very hierarchial society, I can assure you that nobody here is treated based on his wealth or heritage.We admire people with courage, attitude, leadership, strong personality and most important, the skill to wage war.Anyone who thinks himself as fit for the job can try, if he/she has the characteristics I mentioned.

Peace Agreement

On the tenth of January, CEO Morgan and Academian Zakharov ecked out a truce benefitting both sides. It agrees to end agressions and to have free flow of knowledge with free trade.

This marks the end of a long and brutal conflict between our two countries and hopefully opens the future to increased cooperation.

Daniel Jakhobs-Howell at it again

Daniel Jakhobs-Howell evaded capture yesterday after a drive-by shooting at some Data Angels lunching in a DataBar Data Cafe called 'CentauriBucks'

No one was killed, but the Data Angels were shaken. However Zakharov assumes that this will not deterr any peace movements as he pledges to "apprehend the criminals at all costs."

Please discontinue your persistant chattering! I have not had any problems with the EarthHive. What you can do is plant beautiful Earthforests. They are wonderful things to add to the song. I admire your devotion to my life and proliferation but there is no need to destroy Earthlife.


Mindworm Tails: The Stain.

A mindworm awakened. He lifted his hulk and slithered out of his small home in the fungus. The home was a simple burrow that the mindworm could crawl into at night to sleep. He remembered waking up for one brief moment in the night to the roar of something big. He felt a vibration, too. He was too afraid to come out of his burrow to invesigate. He decided he better find what made the big noise now.
After an hour of traveling across the fungal fields he saw it. He saw a great stain as long as he could see in either way. He slithered near the bright red walls that the strange material created. He tapped the wall with his tail. When he touched it he recoiled in pain. The wall was as hot as a sun! He quickly wiped it in a pool of dew that had formed near the wall. He felt an urge to explore though and decided to to try to find an opening in the red wall.
A mindworm close to the front of wreak had just reached the wall at about the same time. This section was different though because it had rained overnight so the side was cool. She climbed up into a large room. There were many screens but all were dark. She tapped one of the screens and suddenly all of the screens lit up with scrolling text. The mindworm suddenly lost all control of her body. She felt calm though. Something in her mind told her to move to a specific screen. She did not comprehend and was promptly given a "Mental prodding". She moved over to one of the screens and then her eyes were forced to watch the text. It read...

The mindworm was then directed to another screen. This screen displayed a large map and 7 blinking dots. The mindworm was then let go by the mysterious force.
Planet was saddened by the information Planet learned after translating by probing one of the stranged organisms. Also Planet realized that these people were determined to survive. Planet found this interesting.

My faction is about freedom, equality and of non-oppression. We are hard working people and we don't tolerate the opression of people.

The Hive is another faction which my people seperated from. Its a Police State, a Dictorship. We are at war with them, but at the moment, the war is quiet. We fought hard for our freedom and we have no intention to lose it.

The Weather Paradigm

As a measure against the growing threat of the mindworms, our scientists have started a grand project codenamed ”The Weather Paradigm”.They will try to understand completely planets weather systems and the local ecosystem.With that data gathered, we can use it as a weapon against local natives, as our former units will now know their ”soft spots”.The Ministry of Sciences has already built special facilities for the project in Sparta Command and everything is going well

Delegation sent to the Free Drones Capital

After discussions with the the Junta, Colonel Santiago has persuaded them to send a delegation of diplomats to the Free Drones capital base.They´re intention is to establish an embassy there, and by that way to establish firm relations between the two factions.
This is the first step towards peaceful co-existance with a faction that deserves to be our nabour.

Roze Commends Peace Talks

Roze commended Provost Zakharov and CEO Morgan for seeking a diplomatic solution to their conflict. She supported the truce, calling it "a step in the right direction" to return peace to the continent.

Second Impact Rover Group Commissioned

Today marked the comission of the Second Data Angel Impact Rovers as part of Datajack Roze's current armament program. Their first assignment has been to move through Data Angel territory and gather any Unity pods that fell within our borders.

Colony Pod Underway!

The latest colony pod left Data DeCentral this week, heading out to establish the fourth Data Angel base, which has yet to be named. The Colony Pod is heading towards the river to the Northwest, near to the Morganite border and the Uranium flats. Suggestions are being taken for the new base name.

Nettap Complex builds Recycling Tanks

Nettap Complex announced the completion of it's first communal base facility. The tanks will function as they do in Data DeCentral and Roze Function, eliminating waste production at the base. It is hoped that this will increase our harmony with our new world, and not disrupt the ecosystem, learning from the mistakes of history.

Peace Talks

The peace talks were ratified today and a treaty was agreed upon, the border stands as it did before the war excepting a few hundred kilometers which Zakharov now holds that previously belonged to the Morganites.

It is Morgan's expressed hope that these peace talks will move toward more cooperation, such as trading of technologies and free trade, in the future.

Roze Sends Agents to University Base

In effort to further good relations with the University of Planet, Datajack Roze has offered to send some of Data DeCentral's best police officers in order to help University authorities capture the fugitive David Jakhobs-Howell. This comes shortly after the attack on Data Angel citizens who had been on holiday in University territory. Jakhobs-Howell has been a threat to the security of people everywhere, using terrorist activities to try and initiate hosilities between the University and the Data Angels.

CYBORGS-Truce

"After much deliberation..." Zakharov was quoted as saying, "I, myself and those on my staff have decided to pledge a truce to the Cyborgs for the duration of one year; however we will not recognize the Cyborgs as an independent country, as they are truly part of the University.

"Hopefully this altercation can be resolved within the year."

Truce Announced!

Only hours ago, a cease-fire was announced between the forces of the University of Planet and the Cybernetic Conciousness. Datajack Roze called it "a huge leap forward" as Provost Zakharov announced a willingness to sit down and find a resolution to the conflict. Roze once again offered the facilities of Data DeCentral to both sides in order to hammer out a more permanent peace treaty that both sides could agree too.
