  • The future of the "Crossfire Tales"

Well, being with the start up of the SMACX story...we writers and readers(if anyone does) of the "Crossfire Tales" should make a discision.

Should we stop the story now and let it fade into history if you know what i mean. Perhaps we should think of it as a learning experience.

Or should we continue the story even though it goes against the new smacx story...which will be annoying for readers.

I know many of you writers have told me in particular about how they want to stop writing for "now" or leave the crossfire tales. Perhaps this is a good decision so we don't waist anymore of our time and can let us concontrate on new stories.

What do you guys think....keep it going...or move on?

I wasn;t trying to mess up Crossfire Tales with SMACX story. I vote that we should keep going.

I really enjoy reading the Crossfire Tales, so I hope it continues.

'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

        Paul...

The SMACX story was presented as a CHALLENGE! It is something that one person should take on their own and see what they can do with.

However, it seems some people want to make this a group thing. I suppose that's ok. But keep in mind that it shouldn't be over 30 or so parts long, or it will be VERY boring and, quite frankly, not really a SMACX 'intro' story.

I vote we continue. I have no problem at all w/ any differences whatsoever between this one and any other version of the SMAX universe.

Hi, been a week or two since i last wrote, but still interested. I lost the "intro" story for my secret organization which i was working on to send to Cotroneo, Jasonian and Captain Kirk for approval, with bunch of other files concerning SMAC and other commitments online. By now, it would be irrelevant anyway, since the story have move along.
So i will redo the details of my proposed secret organization and send it by email....

I believe its safe to say that the Crossfire tales....is closed down for now atleast...perhaps someday in the distant future...someone will revive it.

I just want to thank the few readers who have been loyal fans...all this time.

                    *sigh*

I can't help but think I killed this story with that challenge I proposed.

But...we had a good run. I'll miss Domai, and Mithrel, and the rest of my crazy band of drones, not to mention the many other characters that you guys created.
