That's interesting. I know the underdogs site cares about developers and publishers and if they note, that a specific title is still for sale, they do not provide a download. What I can see, is that SMAC has a link to buy it, while SMAX has a download. Do Firaxis and EA consider this ok to download it? That would be great, cause Planetary Pack was released like 5 years ago and now SMAX can be rarely seen among used software, never in stores.

I remember reading somewhere the cause why SMAC and SMAX are not often sold togeteher. I cannot find it, maybe someone has a link?

Mart: Alpha Centauri is still sold while Alien Crossfire is not sold anymore, which explains the download link. At least this was the situation some years ago.

i have to drive 600km on saturday so i need some sleep before leaving.
i think i will try to setup the game for you before going to bed. i will start from Mart's scenario (if he gives me the passwords) and i will do some changes if needed.
