I would actually love to join you guys. I have never actually played SMAC online, at all, but I have been playing other civ games online for quite some time. So Im a newbie to SMAC, veteran at civ format. Couple of problems/questions though...

First, I got Vista, and to my knowledge there is no way to get SMAX to work on Vista.

Second, how long do these games usually take? I live in China (GMT +8) but I work late afternoons on Sat, and cant be missing that at all.

I run it under Vista with no problems whatsoever.

Games are usually starting friday 9 pm GMT so that is 1 pm in the afternoon for you and take about 4-5 hours on average.

Actually 9pm GMT means 5am on Saturday in your local time...
