Back in town . . . looking for trouble (sign up thread)

Out of the loop for a long time . . . ready to take the plunge again, looking for fellow newbies (or experienced people) and someone to play God.

My thoughts are Huge/Transend/Random land/rain/fungus, 3-4 players (to speed things along), a password holder (for the inevitable turn eighty flame-out, which, three years ago, was me), no spoils, directed research, pod scattering, and on the rest I'm flexible (SMAC or SMAX, even). My faction: I'll try anything, though I like the PKs.

Im interested. I dont like huge, pods or spoils, tho. Pods, particularly, are very unbalancing IMO. Id rather a small map instead of a large one, too. Takes too damn long on Huge and Large.
