Question on transferring control

How does on transfer control of units or bases in a PBEM game to another faction?

For units, it works just like in single player - take your unit to your ally's territory, and hit shift+U. Handing over bases, however, is not possible via traditional means. You'll have to let your ally enter a one turn artificial war with you, or let it revolt.

and letting it revolt means it can possibly go to any faction while allowing a base capture will mean they also get some cash (and maybe tech if that option is ON or they are the cycon)

Thanks, but its actually ctrl+shift+U. Very frustrating to try shift+U.
