Newbie PBEM wanted 4-1-2006

I screwe4d up

I got everything worrking fine

then I saved the game
then after that I realized I am suppossed to change things like name and i believe something else

what can I do?

I trried to go back and replay turn to add in the save info but it said I would be tampering

I dont cheat and feel bad but this is my first go ariund.

Plese tell me what I should do?

The reload warning is just a warning for other players to let them know you've reloaded the game. It tells us how many times you've reloaded so that if someone is reloading 50 times every turn you can start asking questions. It comes up if you try and play a turn twice.

The usual rule of thumb is that any time a turn is reloaded, the player making the reload just explains in the turn thread why there was a reload ("I forgot my password", "my computer crashed", whatever).

Don't worry about it though. This is your first SMAC PBEM, and we'd be a little crazy to not expect a few problems.

With regard to saving the file, so long as you call it something with the game name, the turn number, and the player name in the file name then it'll be fine.

For this game something like (Taking the name of the game from the turn tracking thread Kataphraktoi made for us) Bashing Gaian, 2101.SAV would come to you, and then you'd send on Bashing Hive, 2101.SAV. If you zip the file, then that's all the better.

For now, if you have a saved game from where you've hit end turn and it asks you to save or enter the hive password, then just send that on, and we can sort out naming later. Otherwise, just replay it and send on the replay.

We should probably move over to the turn tracking thread and let this one drop so no one thinks we're still looking for new players.

What happened? you forgot to change the name of your turn?, very easy go to the folder and simply change the name of the file there, put it any name as Zach1 or university1 no problem whit that

I receive the turn from Gramps, but i cant play it, it says is the turn un Mmontgomery and dont accept my password, what i have to do?

It says it's mmontgomery's (Hive) turn? Maybe the turn order posted in the turn tracking thread is wrong, send it to him and see who's turn it is after he's played his.
