Actually I was thinking of something else at the moment: 52 years ago at this time my father was flying back to England, having dropped supplies to the airborne bridgehead at Normandy.
Apologies in advance if there are any reload warnings (I didn't get any)
I inadvertently (twice - DUH!!) tried to play the turn with Smaniac terranx instead of SMAX terranx (I moved the icon on my desktop to stop that happening and forgot that I'd moved it)
For the record, I could have played on with smaniacterrnax, but it botches up the tech tree, build rush costs, etc, so exited the turn and eventually found my regular terranx. As I say, though, I didn't get any reload warning, so I'm assuming that the first and second registry entries (that spawn the reload warning) now reside within smaniacterrnax, and thus no message when I finally got it running on the right one (but I'd be interested if there is any message carried forward when y'all open the turn)
2 reload warnings from you Googlie. I guess it keeps the registry entries somewaht together. I'm sure I've read that as a reload eraser exploit somewhere though... Guess I must have drempt it up!

No - that was one of E_N's cheats that he admitted to - he had some sort of a program that went in and edited the registry entries - or deleted them, or something. That way he could reload umpteen times until he got favorable podpops, at which point he saved then moved on to the next mindworm/unit pop, etc. with no record of ever having done that
