I know, it doesn't mean much. It values early tech too high. However, I would guess that noone is trading for useless techs and thus the ones with high power bars have approximately the techs they wanted to get and quite a few of them too.

My problem with the powergraph is that it measures a few things as they are at the moment ionstead of measuring capabilities. I believe it measures things like techs or cash in the bank but does not consider productive ability
Imagine I offered you 2 start positions]
a) population 8
b) population 4 but with 4 formers and 8 crawlers
