Ya -- back then I thought he was being far too strict when he started with the real short time lines-- I remember he wanted rights to be able to push the turn onward with no action if someone was not playing for a matter of hours

Not really but any regular player would be able to do it. Its not a big deal to keep a PM stored online.

FRankly its not as big a deal anymore since there are a couple of people on here that have perfected a password cracker which can be used if absolutely necessary

I mailed Buster, asking if by any chance Humphrey sent in his PW as well.

I also resent the turn 1 last time

Three choices

1. Lets forget it

2. Get maniac to use his password cracker and eradicate HUmphrey

3. Get maniac to use his password cracker and get a replacement


I probably favor option 3. Hobbes has already stepped in to replace one player and you and I seem to be reasonably reliable so far. So I think this game could get a replacement fairly quickly (although I have no idea as to the state and status of his empire)

I'm going for 3, too. about his position: i think he said something to the effect that he is learning that he sucks compared too other players? still, his empire can be nowhere near mine in terms of suckiness in this one . and soon against probably 3 experienced players as well... oh well. don't you read into this that i actually want to stop! i want to see what i can do from this position and i mean it

or does he need humphreys save? nah guess not, all PWs must be in every save after all

And i have. Also, here goes the savegame. The mail i sent to maniac was a bit unclear, but it contains a link to this thread. Additional info: the missing player is humphrey, the cybcon player. i think he's in slot 3, if that matters. the save attached is his.

If this works all the time, perhaps we should get a replacement first so the PW can be sent to him right away?

I assume what you are referring to is the Codicil program made by Kody. Kody isn't active here anymore unless you PM him, so IIRC he gave a copy of the program to binTravkin. However right now binTravkin has been inactive for months too...

I'd suggest to PM both Kody and binTravkin about changing passwords, and perhaps also ask to give a copy of Codicil to Darsnan, Googlie and mart7x5.(and perhaps me - not a CMN but I'm not going anywhere ).

I contacted binTravkin, but only just now. I misremembered your last post and asked him to send the tool to you instead of Googlie, Darsnan and mart7x5
But I also referred him to this thread.
