Replacement needed for Early CyCon position

I am dropping out of Love and War (2115 is the current year) because of ending up with the incorrect faction attributes as the thread explains. Therefore, this position is a CyCon position, not a believers position, dispite what the bases are called, and what the starting techs are!

The position is strong enough for me to term it "winnable" and I'd happily fill any replacement in with my short and long term plans for the game.

AS a player in the game I appreciate that chaunk was not so overconfident as to call his position 14 years in as "winning" and instead settled on "winnable"

Come on folks -- Isn't there anyone out there that wants to take over an early game cyborg position from a good player??

There are major problems for a replacement player to overcome:
-early Demo is aweful for any faction but Believers.
-soc psy is a relatively useless early tech for a -1 growth faction.
-missing Plan Net delays getting to Planned & Wealth SE choices.
-missing App Phy delays Laser & Particle Impactor weapons.

How about letting me take a look at the position before I decide whether to play?

Im tempted to agree with NW. I was going to post roughly what he said then discarded it as spam\negativity...

Lacks inf nets for IA beeline also. very dry map IIRC my univ start, so -growth is killer. also cycons best strategy is to go base-heavy and specialists oriented, IE long turns. These are all reasons i wouldnt be interested in the turn, although i swear every pbem i am in but 1 has come to a complete halt

Well guys, I took a look and I'm afraid not. The support problem is a big handicap. On top of that, there no direct beeline to IA from here. If App Phy was there already, then at least the side trip would more interesting.
These guys, with there +4 efficiency, are certainly interesting though. Undeniably, the position has a lot of potential and is playable but I have some definite ideas on how to play my 1st CyCon PBEM and I just can't make them fit here.
