I demanded Aki withdrawal from her troops, and, surprise, she declared vendetta on me. I guess it's better to get things clear. Well, I subverted one of her units, used it to damage another, sent a newly trained shell in a suicide mission against a impact infantry that was besieging my base and killed it off with a garrison. With a little help from my friends I think I'll pull this off.

ps, Did you use the withdraw troops feature on me ? i thought players were meant to actually attack one another, because you haven't taken a reputation hit now for breaking a treaty. You can't have performed a probe action either because you'd only finished your first when you cancelled pact.

Declaring vendetta on you was a diplomatic condition when I entered a pact with Morgan. And I went down in reputation from Noble to Scrupulous. Maybe the info only updates at the beginning of a turn.

I began to move a small strike force towards Aki's bases. It will take two turns for me to attack one. Until then, I'd rather maintain my treaty with her because she just recently moved two impact rovers through my territory towards Lal and I'd rather have them moved further away from me before I come crashing down on her.

I'm just raiding his totally unguarded bases - those juicy network nodes sell for 40 ec a piece after all. And it also throws some sand into his gears. But at the rate at which he multiplies his bases now, I have no hope of making a lasting impact on him.



I see your defenses, but I can't reach Aki's bases much faster. And I doubt that declaring vendetta prematurely will do us any good. She's a dumb AI that will stick to her plans regardless of how the situation will change for her. And all I can hope to achieve for now is to interrupt her production of two more impact units before I have to struggle with her response. Considering that she's got 15 impact units in operation by now, that might not be much relief for you, but it's better than nothing.

And and I still got 3 more turns to go until I can build my own worms.

Don't get me wrong, I don't expect you declaring vendetta upon the CyCon. That would not be wise. I am just warning you about the erratic AI behaviour; when I put "I would look at my defenses if I were you" I meant your defenses.

And I hope you are not taking the lives of innocent workers with your... maneuvers.

Eh? You don't need to convince me to take sides with you against CyCon. Unlike others I consider a pact mate a valuable resource which sometimes costs a price to keep.

And you don't need to tell me about her erratic behavior. The ***** tried to con me into a treacherous war against Morgan two times now and deeply dissents my pact with Lal who she's waging a completely senseless war with. Sooner or later she's bound to turn on me. I probably won't get a better chance to make the first move than now when she's moving her army into your direction.

And no. I'm actually improving the lives of people by freeing them from that mind controlling Virtual World that Lazerus has setup to pacify the masses and teach them about the secrets of the Human Genome which makes them so much more happy and talented ...
