OK then:

Here is my proposal:



SMACX, no alien factions, first four players to ask to join.

One turn per day if possible. If you can't consistantly do this, give the rest of us a chance to find a substitute ... don't be bashful about it ... we know that other responsibilities can always crop up.



In order of request:
kbarrett
Setrock
Leon Trotsky
Aethe

Large planet size
30-50% continents ( large islands, small water straights )
High rainfall
No random events
Look first
+1 colony pods to start
All other settings are default

Other rules:
don't abuse stockpiling ( building one unit at a time is OK, just don't do the unit-stockpile-unit-stockpile abuse ).
Inform victim after doing a sucessful probe function, except infiltration.
Don't use the F4 screen to screw with an infiltrated opponent's worker settings.
Don't accept AI generated faction decisions ... get player consent first.
Don't reload games ... don't use the unit design screen twice in one turn ... if you do it in the same city screen, the game will crash.
Don't attack on the turn of upgrading with upgraded units.


Faction choice is in order of sign up ...

But if I'm still in then the options look good to me and I should be fine with 1 turn a day.

Hi, shouldnt Kata be on the list, since he was the first person to express an interest? I am happy with the map, but could you clarify something. Though you've said all other settings default, I presume we are not doing blind research.

hmmm, does continents mean no connection by land? couldn't we have some land bridges? Otherwise arent we going to have a boring old building fest till air power comes?

Small straights were specified.

If you have an urge to attack before foils are available, use a pair of terraformers to make a land bridge.

Sorry, I did miss your request.

I have no objection to directed research.

This would be my first SMAX PBEM, so please be gentle.

I don't have problems with any specific faction, but I like the most Peacekeepers and Gaians, and, in this expansion thingie, Drones and CyCon. Pirates would be nice to try for once, too.
