    It'll give you something to do when the other game's turns are slow...

    1 game in the beginning only takes like, uhm, 2 minutes every 2 days ?

    But, I'm leaving on holiday in 3 days (till the end of july), so if you want the game started soon, I guess I'd better not join.

      Bearhugger, eruditehamster, Sexroc and Fosse.

      Bearhugger, just to give you an idea I was playing in 4 different "generic Xhumans +X AI" games (one of which sadly died). This is probably as many as I can respond to quickly during summer. Its your call as to whether you play or not.

      Haggis is made from the wrong parts of the sheep.

        haggis

        Hey all,

        Haggis is much like the southern border (Pennsylvania- Maryland) "scrapple" which isn't worth detailing the contents.
        It's ok but it brings on kidney stones a little earlier in the average human lifespan what with all the ground pigs knuckles and all.

          so, convince me and ill join
          Well, I was having difficulty figuring out how to convince you to join, and in the end I decided to leave that to Robert Burns.

          Ode To A Haggis:

          Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
          Great chieftain o' the puddin-race!
          Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
          Painch, tripe, or thairm:
          Weel are ye wordy o' a grace
          As lang's my arm.

          The groaning trencher there ye fill,
          Your hurdies like a distant hill,
          Your pin wad help to mend a mill
          In time o' need,
          While thro' your pores the dews distil
          Like amber bead.

          His knife see rustic Labour dight,
          An' cut you up wi' ready sleight,
          Trenching your gushing entrails bright,
          Like ony ditch;
          And then, O what a glorious sight,
          Warm-reekin, rich!

          Then, horn for horn,
          they stretch an' strive:
          Deil tak the hindmost! on they drive,
          Till a' their weel-swall'd kytes belyve,
          Are bent lyke drums;
          Then auld Guidman, maist like to rive,
          "Bethankit!" 'hums.

          Is there that owre his French ragout
          Or olio that wad staw a sow,
          Or fricassee wad mak her spew
          Wi' perfect sconner,
          Looks down wi' sneering, scornfu' view
          On sic a dinner?

          Poor devil! see him ower his trash,
          As feckless as a wither'd rash,
          His spindle shank, a guid whip-lash,
          His nieve a nit;
          Thro' bloody flood or field to dash,
          O how unfit!

          But mark the Rustic, haggis fed,
          The trembling earth resounds his tread.
          Clap in his walie nieve a blade,
          He'll mak it whissle;
          An' legs an' arms, an' heads will sned,
          Like taps o' thrissle.

          Ye Pow'rs wha mak mankind your care,
          And dish them out their bill o' fare,
          Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
          That jaups in luggies;
          But, if ye wish her gratefu' prayer,
          Gie her a haggis!

          What any of this has to do with you joining the game, I will never know. But I rest assured that the eloquent charm of my country's greatest poet will leave you with no choice other than to buy haggis and join this game.

              Ah, a nice simple request this time. I should be able to make the map quite fast.

                Great! I'd like to play Hive, so will you be playing believers? I don't mind taking uni for a spin if you really want hive.

                  A little clarification on some rules:

                  No building speeders from the probe team design.
                  All other reverse engineering allowed.
                  Vendetta is to be selected during probe operations.
                  Trade with other factions is only allowed when you see one of their units or base, or purchase their frequency from another faction.
                  Stockpile bug is allowed.

                            Senethro's making the map. He's got a couple other maps to do first though.
