  • binTravkin's retiring

    Greetings all!

    Sad news, yeah, an explanation should fit probably.

    As many of my fellow PBEMers have noticed, my turnplay speed has been deteriorating over time before, but now, due to quite unexpected turn of events IRL it is close to zero..

    It was a great fun to play with you all and I hope you enjoy playing with the people who will replace me!

    I will continue doing the turns for all games which don't have a replacement player yet.
    I will also continue being an active community member, reading and posting time by time.
    And for those who liked my few CMN jobs - I will continue CMNing games (though will have less time for it, so you should probably turn to Googlie, who recently pronounced he's having a lot of free time).

    And..you'll find me at creation forums after cIV release..

    best wishes to all,
    binTravkin

    Replacements needed:

    @Poly:

    Girls Night In: Gaians -> Senethro
    Xenopine Song: PKS -> T_Ras
    Building Bridges: Believers -> CT
    Virtual Worms: Uni -> Archaic
    Happy Landings: Sparta -> over
    The Cult Of Worms And Fungus: Cult -> Hercules

    @CGN:
    Snails Pace: Cycon
    The War: Gaia -> Darsnan
    OCCC1: Angels -> Darsnan
    CGN 19: Uni -> Archaic
    CGN 21: Hive -> CT
    CGN 23: Gaia
    CGN 27: Pirates
    CGN 28: Drones -> Hercules

    I'd like expierenced players to volunteer and I must say that replacement should not be a player which usually cancels all deals and agreements upon taking over.
    I have had such cases and they did annoy me, thus I wouldn't like it be a disturbance for my fellow players.

    I will also provide each replacer with short history of the game and introduction on strategy I have been using.
    It is then up to him to what extent he chooses to continue my path.

    Takers?

          A shame to see you going.

          I'd be interested in CGN19, and possibily Virtual Worms as well.

            I already knew that!

            I'll send you files, so you look whether you really take them or not.

              *chuckles* I know, I'm predictable. ^^;; From the way you've described these two games, I don't thnk I even need to check out the files. They sound right up my alley. Do you have any zips for previous turns? I'd be interested in seeing how the games developed to this point.

                  more files sent to Archaic.

                  They sound right up my alley
                  I think they would sound right up everyones alley knowing the advantage I have stockpiled in both.

                  Sending files to CT.

                      Well, burn out or change of interest happens to even the best of us. I hope to see you still around BT.

                      Could I take on Girls Night in please? Would you recommend any other game as being of interest?

                        You can take GNI, it's actually quite amazing lately, just be patient, I'll make an introductionary writeup for you 2moro morning, for now I only send the file.

                        Happy Landings and Cult Of Worms And Fungus should be interesting - both are in the warring stage.

                        If interested in Gaian strategies, CGN 23 is also an option.

                        Xenopine is somewhat challenging due to war with Spartans, but tides are already turnning.

                            Yeah, of course.

                            For reference to CGN 23, you can ask Walek or Sentry.
                            For reference to CGN 28, you can ask Googlie or CT.

                            And for reference to Sebed, he's just one of those guys for whom all games are won at the first turn.

                              Well it will be sad to see you go BinT both from an opponent and CMN point of view.

                              But such is RL.

                              Even so I suspect we will see you return to 'poly and CGN forums from time to time.
