The map is not very friendly towards placing a base early for me.

Hey guys. I am not going to have a network connection for the next 2 weeks but I can go to the library and collect/send my turn on floppy. This might mean my normal turn playing time is slightly changed, but even if we only get a turn every two days I guess that is still an improvement over now :P

Please you do so and then make a new thread here "Replacement needed for Gaians @ SIO PBEM" or somesuch.
I will follow the events and provide a password once replacement has been found.-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.

Hi guys,
And munchingfoo, a lot of pbems, for whatever reason experience a changes of players. It happened to me in my first unfinished pbem. However there are others that keep the same players over 12-18 months and I am in a number of those also.
Meanwhile a number of my long term pbems are coming to a close, so time to invest in some new ones.
I am interested in this because of the small map size. However, by now I would be regarded as a veteran., so if a newbie or other recent 'Poly member volunteers to join, that's ok by me.On the ISDG 2012 team at the heart of CiviLIZation
