Besides what the hell is going on with computer players? I prefer to play against human players, not against AI that cheats like there is no tomorrow. It's the 2nd wonder as i understand.

I, of course, voted for Lal.
And well, it isnt that much cheating...im halfway through a SP...

AI's were upgraded to provide challenge - they are too weak otherwise.

They cannot use crawlers, and their attack strategies are very lacking - thus, people often request to make AI's much stronger.

Its not cheating at all, i am 1-3 turns from completing SP as well

Yes, and that's why i'm SICK of singleplayer strategy games - AI sucks and cheats too much (i'm playing computer games for 15 years already and computer games take a big percent of my free time so i played really a lot). So it comes down to finding a ways to exploit computer weaknesses, and it works 100% of the time so there is no competition (quite unlike multiplayer games). At the start it's fun to play a new game to find how to play it, but doing the same again and again is boring. I can play with AI in singleplayer, and that's why i wanted to play PBEM - to play against human players.
When game started it wasn't supposed that comps will be buffed... Now they completed 2 secret projects in 1 turn and make 6 more, they lead in tech... Sorry, but it's not a game what i expected from a multiplayer game. For me there is no reason to play a game that isn't fun. Besides, comps suck anyway, they just can't attack effectively.

So, i'm sorry but i'm done here. I hope that you'll find a replacement (my position is relatively good, at least if you'll count only human players).

AI's do not have chance anyway They are just tougher piece for now. But consider that taking their bases will net you real advantage here (as opposed to SP games - where conquered bases are only good for creating bdrones)

So that's it? You're done?...man you should at the very least give it a try...so the AI has a couple of SP's...so what? Even if you are actually at war with Conciusness/Data Angels, you'll eventually crush them...

Sorry to see you go Ellestar- if you look at the powergraph, University wasn't really doing much worse or better than the rest of us humans. Your position is a bit confusing since you claim you're sick of SP because its boring and looking for more of a challenge. I've not played MP much, but know that SPs are hard to come by anyway. I'll PM Darsnan to help us find a replacement and transfer the password over from Ellestar.
