    The odds are you were meant to lose that Arc.
    2t is no different to 1t, both just give you +50% defense to Psi attack, however you were in the fungus so he gets +50% attack. Assuming both your morales were equal, then he gets a 3:2 advantage by being the attacker.

                Hive Report 2163:

                Terraforming enhancements continued on the Hiverian continent raising land to allow for further development when a piece of unity wreckage was noticed on a recently formed beach. Upon investigation the wreckage began emitting a strong resonance causing an earthquake in a nearby unstable geological fault. Government released reports show that the nerve staples had allowed all nearby bases to continue functioning without loss of production as citizens remained under control. The resonance pulse was short lived and several engineers simply laughed off the incident saying "Well now rather then raise, we've just got to lower the land ready for further improvements".

                A planetary report on factions food intake has shown that the Hive has now overtaken the Peacekeepers. Chairman Lazerus' daily broadcast to the citizens of the Hive used the report to brush off claims from foreigners that Hive citizens were malnourished and living in a brutal regime commenting that his followers were now the fastest growing and largest populace on planet and that this would not be possible if a high mortality rate was around due to government negligance.

                  2164 - The Year of First Contact

                  Have discovered the Morganites! Now am buttering their bread in a friendship treaty but at least I get a little butter for my own bread.

                      um yea the morganites and the gians shouldn't really get along all that well..kind of differing philosophies. Suprised he even talked to you especially if you are running green economics (usually the best thing to do with the gians)

                                well if I find santiago I know where you are now otherwise I might not assume you were close to her. Also know you are nerve stapeling your citizens every ten years or so and probably ics'ing both of which effect my strategy. Up to you however.
