      Sorry for the delay turn played and sent to arcan, hmm is he playing the gians in the 1 vs 1 as well? Hive vs gians that might be a one sided match...

        Still no sign of others around me, not that i care at this stage, i'd prefer to be war capable before i meet the AI so i can errmm be diplomatic

        No we're playing a 1v1 in which we went random factions, i got the pirates and he got the hive, lol it was the worst faction choice either of us wanted hence it got the name "experience"
        He's currently being hit by Zak on one side and Marr on the other (who crushed aki and most of miriam) while i'm kicking the living daylights out of santi and controlling about 3/4 of 1 of the 2 main continents in the process.

          Turn sent. I fear I will have already lost before I meet anybody. I checked out the Secret Project intel and it seems everybody in the world is working on SOMETHING. It's so bad that I don't even think I can compete with the BELIEVERS.
          I'll just have to do the best I can on my own until I can find someone.

            Brave, brave unity rover .... popped a pod expecting one worm and instead got 4. The veteran managed to take out 2 worms but is suffering badly at 40% health, little hope of him surviving

              Turn sent to arcan looking back it seems lal did complete the VW in ten turns started in 2117 and finished in 2127. WOW. I don't think I've ever seen the AI finish a secret project before 2145 at the earliest. Will be interesting to see what there cities are like, haveing to change strategy because of the AI that hasn't happened in a long time. Good stuff! Like a little challenge.

              Don't give up yet Arcan just think how much fun you will have destroying the AI when you meet them. Don't play the gains much but from what I've read there strengths seem to be in getting a worm army early, terraforming well early, and pod popping early (due to worms which can travel throuh fungus like roads) use planned to overcome growth problems. Hey its a challenge so it will improve our play!

                I really hope he had some AA's and not a base with 20+minerals ....
                On the plus side my SP grabbing base is about to really kick in

                                The scouts managed to take 2 out before being killed. The base has been reinforced so should be safe now despite there being 5 worms still around, hopefully they'll just wander off up north.

                                What happens when a wold worm pops a pod btw ?? because i think one of them is going to.
