I have enough games right now, altough I might be tempted to join an Aldebaran PBEM once this project reaches that stage. Didn't Flubber say he wanted to get into a 3X2? Rubin or Hercules might also be interested in this format as well.

One other thing is that because I've got the Caretakers in this game why I have to start the game @ MY2107, and so I'm not getting the screen for the Uni's to choose their free tech. When you get the chance, I need Smacksim to let me know what the Uni's want for a free starting tech.

I'm fine playing a modded game. I'm happier playing a completely random game though b/c Aldebaran and a couple other PBEMs I'm in are heavily modded, because a random game is a benchmark, and because it would be easy to set up and play with little adjustment to strategy. Personally I like having a cruddy starting position and lopsided games. You never know what you are going to get with the random generator.

As you've already done some work on this game, I'm delighted to play it. I thought I'd clarify my reasons for playing a 'normal' game, in case you'd like to set up a second game for us. If not, we can set it up ourselves.

When the human spaceship Unity broke up around Planet in MY2106, Guardian H'mnee was already established planetside (no information was given as far as what happened to Conquerer Maar). Guardian H'mnee, her plans now interupted by these pasty-faced meatbags, immediately issued an ultimatum to the intruders: "Surrender: or else".
Led by the benevolent Commissioner Lal, the quixotic Chairmanslick, and the eccentric Smacksim, the humans rejected H'mnee's offer. The reply was simple: "Annihilation: assured. Regrets: none".
It is now MY2107......

i didn't check with aki (forgot), but when i went to share maps between my two factions as Domai - i couldn't due to the fact - I don't have contact ....

I think maybe this is a mistake??

Not essential at this point, but perhaps next turn we can continue with contact on?? whats the deal?

That shouldn't be, however I only verified that Aki could contact Domai, and not the other way around. Can you open up the game again and just check to see if Aki can contact Domai? If not, once you get the turn again forward it to me and I will see about setting this right via the Codicil program.

As to our next game, I have a proposal.

Passing Lane: Draft Format 2x2 Pbem: Hardships

The idea is to pick factions for each other, but I'm perfectly happy just picking them as we've done previously. Either way, this is how I see a draft working

1. We each pick 1 faction that we don't want to play. No Aliens in any case.

2. You pick my first faction for me, then I reciprocate.

3. Repeat.

If we go with normal faction draft, I'll choose as my first faction: Morgan (havn't PBEM'd him in awhile)
