I'll play it to try not to ruin your game but the position is beyond hopeless. When I saw the university bases and builds, I thought I must have misread the turn year and it was 20 years in instead of 110.

The turn actually crashed pretty quickly for some reason but I saw enough to know that the empire is so weak that it can't even hope to be a factor

It crashed a bunch more times-- every time I scrolled through the map or if I tried to zoom the map outward-- Sorry about that but I think the save was Fubared since steen indicated he had similar problems

Thanks googlie . . I should have searched for your email before but considering the absolutely awful position I took on, I will confess that this game will not warrant much effort. Thankfully it won't require much since the combination of few bases, little cash, few units and no options make decisonmaking easy.
