OK, I need some advice. When I download from e-mail (hotmail). my winzip won't recognize it as a valid file. When I download from here, then there is no problem.

steen - have no idea. never heard of problem like your one. i guess the file has got the ".zip" in the name. do you unzip it right from the mail program or do you save it and then try to unpack? if later, then check if mail program dosen't add anything to the name of the file. it happens sometimes with outlook.

hotmail works fine for me either from web or OL.

And still the same $%@$ problem. This time I tried to open it directly with the unzip and still got the invalid file warning.

I got the other one, and it wouldn't even connect to the unzip rpogram.
Guess we'll have to go with the website posting for now. I have tried but the save and unzip, the unzip and load from the site, and sofar, I can now only load from the website. It started a few eeks ago, and as I am not in any other SMAC games for now, I don't know if it happens with any other files or from anybody else.
Could anybody else send me a copy of an old game to see if I can at least unzip it? steengoddik@hotmail.com
