      Sliders are fine; tech from Uni Base gets IndEcon,
      then the tech from Yang Memorial goes to PlaNets.

      Miriam has founded a base on the side of Mount Planet,
      ChaDawn is yet to found a base. I'll prefound their bases in

        If you hadn't got your posting ability back, then it would have been posted about 30 seconds before this message was posted.

        Nothing happened this turn. I moved a probe team. Woo. Didn't pop any pods either. Meh.

                I placed his pods in the scenario. He should have founded a base on the first turn!

                Googlie, could you play your turn?
                Since it's my PBEM () the following time rules are now in place:

                1. turns to be played by 24 hours
                2. up to 1/3 of turns may be extended to 48 hours by request
                3. If 1 turn is delayed, any passer by may play the faction.
                4. If 2 turns are consecutively delayed, the faction is turned over to anyone that will take it
                EXCEPT players already in the game
                5. Nominating a replacement, or having a group of people as assigned turnplayers for a faction, is Okay.

                I'll take this as a request and wait for 48 hours to elapse.

                    2104:

                    Got Biogenetics this turn and started Social Psych, prerequesites for Secrets of the Human Brain (on the B-line for Centauri Empathy)

                    Moved scout deeper into fungus and met the usual gaian tame mindworm - easily captured. Now I can send the MW scurrying thru the fungus to pop pods and subdue other mindworms

                    Rushed the former's completion at Virgin Soil (13 ec's for the full rush, 9 if I take credit for the 2 mins being produced next turn, so I paid 9 ec's and it will be completed and ready for deployment when I open the next turn. Stockpile Energy in the Q also means that I'll get the 1 energy credit added to my reserves when I open next turn as well

                    Advance planning indicates that it'll be better to move the new former up to the crash site to free the laser miner, who can then get to the chopper and the fusion drive for the 150 ec's - the former will be planting a forest on that arid tile (7:55) anyway

                        Got Industrial Economics this turn.
                        Starting research on Planetary Networks.
                        I am glad my rush didn't detract from my beeline.

                        Moved the scout closer to University Base for Drone control purposes.
                        Fullrushed the Formers at Yang Memorial (stockpile in Queue).
                        I'll use them to prepare a road to the Monsoon jungle, as these two bases won't be too important once the Jungle ones start growing.

                        Pod popped at (59,37).
                        It's a data pod, for talking to Captain Svensgaard.
                        Rovers to (53,33) and (55,43).
                        Scout moves closer to the pod at (50,22).

                        I'll talk to Sven once I start research on IA.
                        Setting sliders to 30/0/70 for a faster IA.

                            Sorry for the delay, I don't automatically check the thread, and didn't realise you'd posted the turn until you PMed me.

                            Centauri Ecology Doctrine: Mobility chosen. Sliders adjusted (30,0,70) for tech in 3 years, probably only for one year in that setting, plus two pod pop.

                            Probe to 30,36
                            Scout popped pod on 23,31. More worms! Yay!
                            Scout attempted to move onto fungus covered pod at 31,31 and failed.
                            Production switched to formers at both bases. Opticommons rushed for 12EC (5/7min).

                                -Start turn-
                                A scout patrol at (62,30) moves to University Base.
                                This is to quell the drone that will arise from population growth next turn.
                                Yang Memorial produces Formers, which move to (62,30) and begin planting a forest.
                                They are storing former time so that they can clear the fungus at (59,33) and give my colony pods a roaded path to the Monsoon Jungle.

                                I partial rush the Colony Pod at university base by 8 minerals, or 24 ECs. The colony pod will be fullrushed next turn to get University Base back to a managable size.

                                I try to move a Spatrol from (54,30) to (53,29) but fail.
                                I move a Unity rover (53,33) to (55,33). Try to move to (57,33) but fail.
                                I try to move a Spatrol at (59,37) to (59,35) but fail.
                                I move Unity rover (55,43)->(56,44). Pop the pod at (58,44).
                                I get an AA.
                                Since no remaining AI is in any position to build a SP, and I can see the other human players' attempts, I'll keep this AA around.

                                Setting sliders back to 50/0/50. I have a tech in 1 turn.

                                You guys really should be more detailed in your explaination. This -is- a tutorial game, after all.
