  • LapTop Collection 2: the Crossroads of Life

This is the turn tracking thread for the game "Laptop Collection 2". We make many decisions in life, many of which are irreversible. Each of your Factions met a Crossroads on the Unity, and made an irreversible decision that has led you to the surface of Planet. Now, once again, each of you are faced with a crossroads, and once again the course you each decide to take your Factions is irreversible.......

Players in this game are as follows:

    Net Warrior: Free Drones
    Chip Buckner: Cult
    jtisyoda: Peace Keepers
    Rubin: Consciousness

First turn has been sent to Net Warrior. Good Luck to All!

    Darsnan,
Thanks for all your efforts in, now what has become, our Laptop series. I think I speak for all of us when I say Laptot 1 was a very nice set up and a pleasure to play. I'm looking forward to more of the same in Laptop 2.

      My thanks, too, Darsnan.

Was I supposed to have access to Centauri Ecology for my first tech choice?

Let's see. I only made one mistake in my first turn.

Yoda: The missing Centauri Ecology research choice is a known problem when setting up a PBEM. In order for the CMN to assign the correct technologies to each faction the game sets the 'have traded technology' flag on. And thus your research options change. Depending on the faction order technology choices may vary. There is no known way around this 'problem'.

Chip, I hope you're not thinking of resigning.

Rubin, can we all expect a kinder gentler opponent this game then?

So, Yoda, both you and Chip are off to a rude start.

                The Drones salute you.

A kinder, gentler Rubin? How could that be possible?

I thought I made an error in the first turn, but I was wrong. I made the mistake in the second turn, trying to correct the supposed error I made in the first turn.

                          Turn to Yoda.
