    --------------------

    Mission Year 2106

More and more "boreholes" as our scientists have named them come into sight of our scouts. Some scientists suppose that these holes are remains of alien industrial area.
Though our green initiatives restrict it we will make use of those huge structures as far as they dont cause any ecological damage.
We cannot allow useful resources to be wasted, especially because these resources can help us better understand the Planet as they provide energy for our researchers!

    --"Speeches at the Gaian Council"
    --Lord Ivan bin Travkin
    --Datalinks
-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.
-- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

from central controll reports to Chairman t_ras:
" our scouts seem t have discover maps which show very green sorrounding areas, we might have a good future for the hive here..."
"Some one told me former operators are not supposed to think much, that's good. I think that was the reason I took this job, ha, that and of course the fact the commissar said so." -t_ras: life through the former operators eye

Minutes of the Board, Centauri Monopoly, 2106 AP (after planetfall) unedited version kept in Jade Martin's MCpad.

CRO (chief resource officer) McKiern : We've been applying chaos theory, and we have found some interesting data on the resource pods dropped during planetfall. They did not drop randomly.

Daddy : You mean they fell in a pattern.

CRO McKiern : Sometimes. It seems they dropped in pairs, at least we've been finding a tendency to find similiar items in pods opened near each other.

Daddy, looking at the projected charts : This is ridiculous! It's not location, it's when two pods are opened at roughly the same time. The resource pods MARK what's here, they can't scatter non-randomly.

Chief Scientist Currie : If you look at the chart supplied by Mr. McKiern, you'll note an apparent Schroedinger Effect.
          (silence. everybody stares at Currie)
You know, the cat in the box effect. The cat isn't dead until the observer opens the box. I see a similar pattern here...

Daddy (loudly clearing his throat). Now, onto Chief Scientist Currie's wildly successful research work. Could you please fill us in.

Chief Scientist Currie : But it really is an observer affect.
(daddy glares at Chief Scientist Currie. )
          Our recent research efforts...
