Are you talking about "set old voxel algorithm = 0 " or whatever it is?

Yes, I'm running the XP patch, but I'm using a Pentium M with win2k. This wasn't a simple lockup, I got a BSOD and binary stack dump. I just got this laptop and I've had a host of problems. So far it hasn't repeated, so I'll just hold my breath every time I save.Comment

My apologies to all, but alpha centauri seems to lock up my computer, it won't even open. I suspect there may have been some sort of corruption in moving the filesystem to my new computer. I won't be playing the turn tonight but rather re-installing and seeing if I can get it running. If all else fails, I will install on a spare computer at work and get the turn out tomorrow at the latest.
