Same old same old here, I'm afraid. I played another game to completion after I had extensively tweaked the tech tree and facilities tree (eliminating the Cloudbase Academy and the entire chopper chassis). It was a great experience, except for the endgame.
I'd slowed down the endgame slightly to allow for more enjoyment of the fungus bonuses and other such overlooked things, but one thing continued to bother me. The endgame Secret Projects are waaaay too powerful!
I've asked this question before and the responses were few and largely discouraging. But I keep wondering is there any way to add new Secret Projects to the game? Things like the Telepathic Matrix and the Cloning Vats strike me as being far too powerful, and the endgame SE choices are not balanced enough when you factor in which ones have SPs that eliminate their negative side effects and all.
A few more facilities that reduced inefficiency would also be appreciated!
There are gaps in the alpha.txt file concerning the Secret Projects. Surely there should be some way of filling these in with our own...?
