Would these mods/hacks be possible? (or eventually?)
Some seem kind of simple, and really useful
(most are applicable - and Id really like to have added to - Civilization 2 / Test Of Time also)
(sorry if some have been mentioned previously, I havent posted here before)
Would be nicest as additional adjustable starting options if that would ever be possible:
* no mindworm capture ammount restriction (or increased/lessened)
(seems obvious that there is a restriction on this)
* adjustable number of factions/civilizations (to allow more - if your PC can handle it - or less than, just 6 computer players)
so you can have all 14 factions (or more) at once for single player games. What would it take to change this??
(maybe could have balancing bonuses available/added for the original factions?)
* add more (and differing types..?) of (fun) harder difficulty levels somehow ? (havent thought about this much yet)
* self-built base restriction
(limiting the number of bases each faction
can build for themself, so they must capture the rest)
[this would be interesting for quicker, smaller sized games]
* allow more than one of all or some secret projects to be built
("Weather Paradigm (1)" "Weather Paradigm (2)" etc..)
more complex mod/hacks:
* mindworm/barbarian can build "cities" (cant be captued, only destroyed/plundered?)
and/or a mind worm faction you can play
(or as "barbarians" just allow them to sort of build their own cities.. ?)
* a new second (or third) alien/"barbarian" race
(like mindworms, but in opposition to mindworms and all races..)
(uncapturable?)
(as story, maybe they originated from an asteroid that crashed into the planet)
* new landmarks/bonuses like monoliths (and/or increase of natural bonuses)
* Mars mod and other planets.. Ice planet.. Dune
(with some differing terrain attributes and lifeforms)
