  • Naval Movement Free Ability

    Hello,

    On the off chance that anybody still frequents this forum I am in need of help. I wan't to create a custom faction with an innate (or needs prerequisite tech) ability of increased naval movement .

    I can't see it as an option in the FREEABIL section of the alpha but was hoping that somehow the code from the MCC project could be used. Maybe a shot in the dark but if I suppose you guys know more about it than me.

    You can't give them extra movement (or the Project) directly, but you could give them Doctrine:Initiative as their starting Tech, then they could build The Maritime Control Center as soon as they are able to spare a base with enough minerals. Your first few ships before the Project is complete will have the normal movement, but it's early in the game so it shouldn't hurt them.
    I am on a mission to see how much coffee it takes to actually achieve time travel.
