This is a down-the-road notion, as I'm juggling a lot of graphics eggs right now, so there's plenty of time to discuss- but my services are offered.
It would be a hoot to make a faction set based on AC-heads who post here.
I’d suggest Illuminatus is a gimme, as are vyeh and scient.
The silly nature of the thing indicates the portrayals need not be fair or accurate, so long as no one's feelings are hurt. I'd urge going for the comedy; this place tends towards humor-impairment.
You can star in your own silly faction, if you like, though others should be allowed input- to make it better and compensate for the conflict of interest. Whether I take submitted photos of the victims and try to make them look AC-level realistic, or use something else, would be up to the committee. Naturally, we’d have to depend on the victims’ cooperation to get/use photos of them.
I strongly urge that we hold out for victims’ acquiescence in general.
PM me for my email if you’d like to send me images you don’t want to post here- keeping in mind people would see a version in the finished faction, if nowhere else. Posting is better, where feasible. It’s in our best interests to keep the forum active.
I’ll tend to want to try to make everyone better-looking.
That’s all I’ve got at this point, and have no interest in doing the text files myself; as with the Strategist Project, I’d be glad to see others take it and run, even on the graphics, though I’d like to be involved.
We might want to talk about ground rules first.
Again, I won’t participate in hurting feelings on purpose or in ways that can easily be anticipated- let’s be funny, but play nice.
I’m flexible on all parameters but that last one. This is, naturally, open to everyone.
