Try looking in your SMAC folder. Open concepts.txt file (conceptsx.txt) file. You only need notepad for that.SMAC/X FAQ | Chiron Archives

Gavin Berchler, you can try search the .txt files for the specific entry you are looking for.
I did some work on the Datalinks some time ago and the information is stored in different .txt files (Expanded Help files at Civgaming.net).
Could you attach the two .xml files with all the base names implemented?
Could you elaborate on the additional changes you made?

I have uploaded the files with all the city names for all the factions. I have tested it too and it seems to worl
The other changes I made, seemed to cause crashes so I have removed those.
I thought Iwould use this opportunity to try out google code.
Its really impressive. My friend signed up for it and we have been working our way through it . I have added the two files with the update city names and labels there. I will work on some stuff from rubins to do list until I hear further.
I am just focusing on xml mods at the moment.Come visit the SMAC Mod

I added it as a download
I have been working on doing the tech prereqs for the buildings and it looks like we have used a different schema. SInce I have started already and am nearly done I will complete what I have done.
I will put a note on what I am doing in the changelog on the wiki on the google site, so you can see what I am up to..
It would be great if you would put what you are working on so we don't duplicate the work.Last edited by Gavin Berchler; December 27, 2006, 20:20.Come visit the SMAC Mod
