I have built a program in php that will generate the techonology trees. So we can make changes if necessary. Can anyone help with creating artwork for the icons for the technology tree?

I'm unfortunately probably not going to be participating... I still haven't bought cIV... I did buy Age of Empires 3...

But mor importantly, I made the mistake of readdicting myself to Diablo 2...

I'll probably check in from time to time... Images might still be something I can do, but I'm really more of a copy paster than drawer...

I'm still in. I can help with i) text editing -- do we need more philosophical quotes?; ii) basic sound file work using Audacity on my PCs or Macs -- I have a pretty good voiceover setup. I also have SMAC and SMAX on the Mac and SMAC only on the PC. I have also played a few turns of Roanke's SMAC Mod for Civ4 which has some excellent ideas in it.

No programming skills here but a small amount of free time and a lot of love for exploring and terraforming Planet.

And sound people are maybe rarer than decent coders/artists.

I am in. Just to let you know I saw there is a detail on fall from heaven where you can have wild animals enabled for the whole game and "enslave" them as use them as units. Sounds like mindworms anyone?
