wgabrie has a nice starting point, but I agree with the general comments about it : more alpha-centauri like background (fungus), more detail in the Darsnan-creature, something about the gray border.

While I personally like wgabrie's work (its actually the wallpaper on my work computer!) why I think gfc's is closer to what the community needs. Maybe spruce up the "C4AC" like PJayTycy suggests, or leave it as is: regardless, I think its pretty ideal.

Edit: also, as far as the "Darsnan-creature" comment is concerned: my avatar is what I envision a Gaian Empath Scout looking like. My reasoning on this is that essentially anyone who walks outside on Planet needs to wear an environmental suit, as the air doesn't support a human. As the Gaians value freedom and individualism to a high degree, I think people (and especially scouts and others who would have to live in these suits for extended periods) would be in the habit of personalizing their environmental suits (as opposed to other Factions like the Hive and Spartans who would have strictly regimented policies regarding their scouts environmental suits). So essentially the "Darsnan-creature" is wearing a highly personalized environmental suit, which includes a re-breather that covers the mouth and lower nasal passages, as well as goggles to cover the eye membranes. Yes, I can make the letters stand out more; one thought is to make it look like they're carved from the stone wall of the cIV pyramid.

I'm girlfought out for tonight, but maybe I'll have it by early tomorrow...?
