  • Fooling Around With Making Different Base Graphics

    The other day I was looking for different base graphics so I thought I would play around with some different things floating around. It's just for my personal use because they aren't as great at the originals that came with the game but it does change things around a bit. What I made wasn't exactly exotic but it does it's job I suppose.

    Any chance you'd be interested in mod'ing the Units.pcx file for me? What I'm looking for is replacing the NL's with pics of military units.

        No, I don't have any examples, and personally why its not that important. Essentially in my Beta Lyrae mod (see seperate thread in this forum) why I am replacing the LoC's with a hovertank unit. The problem I am running into is that if I have the game (via the alphax.txt file) automatically select an icon for the unit, it generates the LoC's icon, regardless of how I change the unit physically (i.e. chassis, weapon, etc.). So therefore my only choice is to assign a specific graphic choice via the Units.pcx file, but there are no good icons there for that, and I am not a graphics guy....
        So, I guess what I'm saying is any help at all here would be greatly appreciated!
