using SMAC-X Editor

Can anyone tell me how to create a faction and add to the game without the text in sentences being messed up. Is it something I am doing wrong with the SMACX faction editor? I have not put out my faction because of this. Thanks!

Someone posted (somewhere on this board) that the SMAC faction editor sometimes truncates the message text. That implies that to make sure it works correctly you have to edit the .txt file itself.

Okay so it is a bug then? I thought they fixed all the major problems with SMAC. That really sucks big time. I guess I will upload my faction then. It always messes up about 3-4 sentences when I save it using the editor. I don't think many are still creating anything. Seems like boredom has set in across the whole SMACX community of players!
