  • Dunish scenario ready for testing.

Yup. And it needs testers. So, who wants some?

Some of the changes include, infantry can now move 2 spaces. Foil chasises can now move on land. Only sources of minerals are recycling tanks and forests. Also big payoff from fungus energy-wise, near the middle-end of game. Also note, some of the changes I haven't quite tested. So be careful.

    Thanks.

Aw..come on, no response? A few months back you guys helped put this thing together. I don't know, maybe I am being confusing with saying Dunish. What I meant was Dune-ish. Remember now?

Anyway, I remember Jasonian saying he wanted to test it, but I don't have his E-Mail address. Anyone?

So okay, I am getting desperate here. What I basically want is the e-mail address of anyone wanting to test this scenario so I can send it to them.

Are you refering to messed up formatting in the thread, or my scenario? Anyway, I don't about the formatting but I can tell you about my scenario. So for anyone else out there thats interested, I took my inspiration from Frank Herbert's Dune novel in which there is this desert planet which produces the most precious substance in the galaxy, the spice, Melange. Its highly addictive, but has life-lenghtening, and mind enhancing properties and is necessary for interstellar travel, and a few other things. Adding to this, its difficult to harvest, because of sand worms that attack the harvesters and the general harshness of the environment.

Anyway, on my scenario map, the world is all desert. Minerals are scarce, so and only come from forests, and recycling tanks, factors, nanoreplicators, etc.. But if you plant forests, the tend to destroy fungus, and fungus produces a lot, and I mean alot of credits, especially later in the game. Also mind worms are a bit deadlier, especially since there is a 4:2 psi offense/defense ratio.

I was reffering to the formating, but the info you supplied with now is also helpful.

The file arrived into my mailbox. I'll test ASAP.

PS. Actually, this is interesting for me since I've read every "Dune" book exept for "Chapterhouse: Dune" (couldn't find it anywhere .
