placing terrain enhancement

Hullo every1, can any1 help me out here?
I'm trying to make me a nice SMAC scenario and i managed to edit the most complicated aspects like the techtree etc. but one basic thing doesn't work.
I'm trying to connect a few cities, so i click on 'edit map', 'place terrain enhancement', 'ok' but nothing happens, the square my cursor is on doesn't get a road! I can place/remove land, natural landmarks etc. but the terrain enhancement doesn't work. Did i miss something?

On the right hand side of the mesage/stats display window you should see a "T" button when the scenario editor is acitvated. Press it. You will have all the enhancement options available to you - Ctrl+Right Click to place, Scroll Lock to paint.

If you can't find the "T" button, try deacivating and re-acitvated the scenario editor. That should do it.
