  • Removing base grids around non-existent bases while editing a map

    Recently I decided (for the first time) to edit and save a randomly generated map that I liked. I loaded the first save, activated scenario editor and manually removed unity pods around all landing locations (I played with no pod scattering). Then I saved the map and started a new game on it simply to make sure that everything was fine. However, after activating the editor I noticed there were base grids in some places where there were no bases. My guess is these grids are from the bases in my save. Is there any way to remove them? Other then turn off "show base grids" that is?

    Try this:

    * Load the map in the scenario editor.
    * From the MENU, go MAP --> Toggle base grid.
    * Save the map.

    Works for me!

      Thanks for the reply! I have already found another solution, though yours is undoubtedly more elegant.
