  • TCP/IP Windows XP/7

    Hi Everyone,

My friend and I are trying to overcome the crass demands of TCP/IP.

We are both running the same versions of the game, and have been successful in the past. I have upgraded to Windows 7 recently, and now neither of us can see each others games. We have all firewalls(Windows and Comodo) disabled.

We are on the same work group and have functioning IP addresses as we can plan other games together(Diablo II: LoD)

Is there anything specific we need to do to get this working because of the Windows 7/Xp differance? The game works just fine single player for both of us.

Thanks everyone, we just want to play some Alpha!

I don't know if it will help, but I've had a lot of success in the past with Hamachi. Apparently it sets up another internet configuration which bypasses all firewalls and some other connection problems, providing a different IP other people can only access according to your privacy settings. You might want to check it out, maybe it will work.

Also the program itself is freeware.
