How many player techs can you add to SMACX

I added one tech to SMACX by using the one empty "User" slot for Tech 87.

Is it possible to add more? Say by using the "deleted" slots higher up the tech tree for things like Tech 24 "inertial damping" etc.

Can you add more to the end of the list?

akaik, and in my experience, that is all you get. You can edit User Tech 37 and the two "deleted" in order to add three techs. You can edit the others, too, as long as the results make some kind of sense as to the progression of discoveries (Projects, Facilities, Weapons, etc.) goes.
