    Hi everyone,

    Just want to ask if there is any way to check the combat odds before attacking an enemy in a multiplayer LAN game (not PBEM).

    I googled high and low and didn't find any solution to my problem; this is a serious issue, am I supposed to take a calculator and calculate it all myself (and prolly miss a couple of factors in the process) whenever I intend to attack an enemy?

    While we're at it - is there any way to also enable combat animations/wonder movies in multiaplayer games? I'd really LOVE to have that enabled - changing things in preferances while having an MP session does nothing tho...


    Any solution would be REALLY appreciated (be it .ini meddling or modding).

    the calculator only displays the odds per round, and gives incorrect odds in some situations (psi combat with different reactor levels)

    So if you want to know the true odds of a win/loss you gotta do the math yourself anyway.

      Really? So there's no way to turn on the odds calculator in a mp game? I don't really care if it's slightly wrong, taking my time to calculate the odds every single time I plan to attack someone is just bad IMO. How am I supposed to take all the things into consideration? Like if the worm is a hatchling, a base has a perimeter defense, a unit is hastened etc.? Is there any way to at least see the percentage for all the factors in each unit window? Or am I supposed to wonder if I missed a sensor array each time when conquering a base?

      Damn... One serious design flaw - you sure there's no way to turn it on?

      PS. Thanks for your updated datalinks - they helped me to learn the game more than any tutorial so far
