Heat wave?

Hi,

I just noticed in the top-right corner of one of my bases, that it is experiencing a 'heat wave', and so gets +1 energy/square. This is not documented in the manual at all (I can't see it anywhere) - when does this happen, and why isn't it documented?

Heat wave is one of the many random events that occur if you have random events enabled. If you're playing SMAX, you can download GooglyBoogly's Comprehensive Datalinks Update, which documents random events. If you only play SMAC, here's a thread in which random events are discussed.
