Hi all,
I just got hold of SMAC (ya know, one of those classic 'Sold Out' game CDs) and I'm a noob at the moment (though this game seems to have a lot in common with Civ2 which I am a veteran at!), so will probably be asking a bunch of questions.
Here's the first one: on this board, I've seen various patches to SMAC mentioned. The two that seem to be the most recent are the '4.0 patch' and the 'XP patch'. Are these the same patch? If not, which do I apply? Do I apply both? In what order should I apply them? I'm guessing I need to apply at least one because I'm getting the 'planetary governor can't access infiltrator information' bug. Grr. Finally, where is a reliable source to download these patches? Thanks!
