    Suddenly unable to run SMACX...

    A few days ago, I installed SMACX via a noCD crack and was able to run it with no issues. Today though, I can't run terran.exe or terranx.exe without either of them displaying a pop up indicating that it has encountered a problem and then closing out. I've un/reinstalled it but it hasn't fixed the issue.

    Any explanation/solutions?

    Strange: One day it works, then it doesn't. For the record, did you install any other programs recently? Also, what's your operating system?

    Try running the game in compatibility mode. Use Windows 2000 mode first, then experiment with other options if that doesn't help.
