Just wanted to point out that, effective today (1/18/2009), it's possible to search the SMAC Archives. In fact, all of the archives are searchable. I updated item #57 in our FAQ to reflect this change.

This is the kind of news that wins my support for the changes. The archives are a treasure of both information and fun. It almost ... no, in fact, it does make up for the green headings and the bright background. (I still hope that there will be a "retro" style to choose once the transition is completed.) -
Seconded. I miss the old graphical format, but a searchable archive is well-worth the sacrifice.Comment
