Congrats e-card? Do you mean something like from Hallmark? Does that have enough space to place numberous names?

I wanna sign that...
Recently I re-installed SMAX, and wow...no wonder it was -and is- my fav computer game. It still hasn't been beaten by anything, not even GalCiv2, CivIV or anything as fancy
Ten years already? I started to play around 2000...time passes so quickly nowadays

A low-budget thing we might try to do would be to start a thread specifically with the intention that Sid Meier, Brian Reynolds, Firaxis, and BHG get to see it. We could post gaming memories, weird screenshots, and our heartfelt thanks to BHG and Firaxis to that thread and keep adding to it. (Maybe I could stick up a link to my fanfic, or a screenie of that one weirdass time a Believer base that had two other nations' units in it because they were Allied to Believers but at war with each other.)
That wouldn't require any programming and we could ask a mod to keep going through it to make sure trolls don't poison the well."lol internet" ~ AAHZ

I noticed BHG created a Facebook page:
Big Huge Games. 3,184 likes. Big Huge Games is dedicated to the principle that fun and successful games are created by talented, passionate individuals working together as a team. The most important...
I don't see how you can leave behind a message on that page though.
Anyway, if there are any concrete plans on what to do, I can release Planetfall v7 a little earlier, and along with it ask people to join in the 'festivities'. That might bring in some CFC people.Last edited by Maniac; January 20, 2009, 15:43.

You need to be a fan of the page to post wall messages.
It is apposite to bump this thread. I created the following posters with obamicon.me to provide bump material.

Now that I think about it, wow it has ONLY been 10 years. When I first saw AC on the shelf, it was in the old-style cereal box sized packaging in a Babbages computer software store at a local mall. That same store is now a Gamestop.
Just seems like it was more than 10 years ago when I was there.

*sheds a nostalgic tear at those early days of learning what crawlers were for and such*Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.
