How many people were on the UNS Unity?

Sorry if I've asked this before, but is there any in-game or in-fiction number of about how many people were brought to Planet on the UNS Unity? I'm kind of interested in how many people survived Earth.

I think people with the GURPS SMAC book probably have access to the best info to answer this.

According to the GURPS SMAC book, the Unity carried 2,650 crew and 7,000 passengers.
