    The Voting Booth is part of the Alpha Centauri Democracy Game 5 ("ACDG5")

    There will no doubt be discussions in a lot of places. My opinion is that if people vote in the middle of a discussion we tend to close at least our minds to the opinions that get posted later. I say 'at least' because we might not even read any further discussion once we've voted.

    I propose that when the faction leader, or other designated discussion head, calls for a vote it be conducted here. This will also make it easier for the faction leader to find the conclusions that he needs to give to the turnplayer as directives, without having to sort through all the discussions.

    Feel free to vote here as soon as possible, then edit your vote later as the discussion progresses if you want, but try to keep your vote very 'clean'...a yes, a no, something that clearly fits one of the choices given, etc.

          Voting on this issue is closed. Orders have been issued to move the west pod upriver as the Capital and place the other two pods immediately.
