Video crash...

As refer to this thread,
I now experience crash when the video of project weather paradigm play upon successful finish research.

Before that I disable opening video and when I re-enable it, the opening video play but then the whole screen turn black when I skip it.

Please help.

Are you playing SMAC or SMAX?

What's your operating system (XP, Vista, ...)?

Are you fully patched? (See here.)

Have you uninstalled/reinstalled the game (including deleting any files that get left behind)?

If none of this helps, please post again and let us know what happened.

Yes I patched the game with SMAC Win 2000/XP Update.
